If you sat on the floor with some blocks of wood laying unorganized before you, they would never become a table unless someone came and built one. Someone with the ability and knowledge about how to build a table. If we just sat there and waited for the wood to somehow become a table without any sort of intelligent intervention, it would never happen. Not a one in one billion chance, but it would never happen.
Yet, we have some who believe that this whole world — as incredibly organized as it is — just formed itself out of nothing. They believe that not only did nothing form the world, but nothing also created multiple life forms. and put together the various systems that sustain those life forms. That’s a little more complicated than just building a table!
In God’s word, He tells us that we have no excuse to deny His existence. That we can know that He is alive just by looking around us.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20)
With so much evidence around us, let’s acknowledge our creator.
