If you have lived a number of years, as I have, you can look back and appreciate certain things that you could do in life that you no longer can. At least not with the same amount of energy! Early in life, we seem to have the ability without wisdom, and later we have wisdom without the ability. But all things can be done through Jesus.
If you have spiritual awareness in your youth, you are truly blessed. I urge you to make the best of this time. Use your energy and ability when you are young, but arm yourselves with wisdom so that you might make the best of your days.
Ecclesiastes 11:9-10
9 Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things. 10 So, remove grief and anger from your heart and put away [i]pain from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
God can make great use of you if you allow Him to. It will make your days on earth so much better, and your eternity beyond this world glorious! There are many things on this earth that can distract you and so stay on guard.
1 Peter 5:8
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Stay in God’s word and study. Arm yourself so that you don’t fall victim to Satan’s traps. Enjoy life, but stay true to God’s path that He has laid before you. May God bless and direct you all.
