God’s Start-up

Silicon Valley is famous for start-ups.  So many successful companies were started here.  Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Google, Facebook and so many more.  All disrupted the status quo.  All changed the world in radical ways.  These changes were in many ways for the better but sometimes for the worse.

God has his own “start-up”, the church.  In a letter sent to a group of believers in modern day Turkey 2,000 years ago we can read what God intended for His start-up.  We can read about his vision, it’s mission statement, the kind of people who would be recruited.  We learn that it is composed of people across all ethnic groups, bound together by a love of God and each other.  We learn that it was planned before the beginning of time.  It’s mission to share a message of reconciling with God, a message intended to change the world and disrupt the status quo.  All of this made possible by the sacrifice of that start-up’s founder- Jesus Christ.  We invite you to learn more about this start-up and how you too can be a part of this group of people intending to challenge and change the world as it currently is.
